"Can Dragons and Frogs Ever Be Friends? (Second Edition) by Trudi J. Carter is such a sweet story. It's set in the Great Forest, where a group of frogs are trying to live peacefully, but two dragons are trying to eat them. Then, a dragon egg shows up and then a frog named Melville steps up to save the day. I loved how it talked about being brave, kind, and understanding, all while being funny and exciting. It's got humor, great characters, and good lessons. This is a perfect book for kids and enjoyable to read.

This story is full of charm, with a gentle mix of adventure and life lessons. I really liked how Melville the frog takes a big risk to make peace, even when things look hopeless. It’s light and funny, but it also teaches something real without being too preachy or heavy-handed.
Can Dragons and Frogs Ever Be Friends? is the kind of book kids can enjoy for the fun and grown-ups can appreciate for the message. The characters are quirky and memorable, and the story moves at a nice pace. It’s a great read for bedtime or classroom storytime that leaves you smiling.

Can Dragons and Frogs Ever Be Friends by Trudi J. Carte is a fascinating children’s book that revolves around two living creatures on Earth, dragons and frogs. Both of them were enemies living in the Great Forest, where frogs had to save themselves from two dreadful frog-eating dragons. The twist in the story occurs when the Dragon’s egg suddenly falls at the bottom of the Deep pond that was the frog’s home. The dragon egg was in danger. The frog named Melville was eager to help challenge the old myth that frogs and dragons must be enemies.
It is a delightful children’s book that teaches children the lesson of empathy through their deepest fears. The climax of the story was unbelievable and entertained the readers. It is for fans of fantasy books. The beautiful illustrations and dialogues between frogs, dragons, Beach Bird, and Forest Squirrel were quite hilarious.
A thoughtful and uplifting read for children and adults alike.
